We are a group of citizens--just like you--who want the best for North Berkeley County, whether it’s services such as our fire department, ambulance or library, or places like ball fields, the Falling Waters Falls, or Civil War battlefields.  We are interested in knowing what's going on the community that impacts us now and in the future and we are also interested in sharing any information we have with our fellow citizens.
In 2005, we registered with the National Friends of the Library.  While we started out as an FOL for North Berkeley Library, we have broadened our horizons to include the whole community.

We began this newsletter as a result of the frustration we were all feeling because we were unable to easily locate information about our local community.  We figured that if we were having trouble getting this information, then there had to be others out there who are having the same problem.
